Dr. Nury Zurbano

Nury Zurbano, DMD

Dr. Zurbano's diligence and high attention to detail enable her to create beautiful, healthy smiles. Our patients love Dr. Zurbano because her caring and gentle nature helps them feel at ease from the moment they meet her. She strives to make dental visits a comfortable and positive experience. Dr. Zurbano enjoys working with both adults and children alike. She loves getting to know her patients and making them feel like family.

Dr. Zurbano came to the United States at the age of 13 from Cuba. Before moving to Miami, her family lived in New Jersey, where she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University for both her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degrees. After completing dental school, she settled in Miami and has been serving patients in and around Miami Lakes since. She enjoys treating patients alongside her daughter, Kristina, and husband, Victor. We are truly a family practice!

In her free time, Dr. Zurbano enjoys staying fit, learning about archeology, salsa dancing, and relaxing at the beach with a good mystery book!

Dr. Kristina Christoph

Kristina Christoph, DMD, MS

Dr. Kristina Christoph's passion for dentistry began at an early age due to her parents' shared enthusiasm for the profession. Particularly drawn to the esthetic nature of dentistry, Dr. Christoph pursued the specialty of Orthodontics. As a perfectionist by nature, Dr. Christoph strives to create beautiful, confident smiles for her young and adult patients. She uses the most advanced techniques and materials to make orthodontic treatment as efficient and comfortable as possible.

Dr. Christoph's personal dedication to excellence has been evident throughout her academic and professional career. She attended Nova Southeastern University's Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences for her undergraduatate biology degree, where she received the Student of the Year Award, given to one student per year. She subsequently was accepted for an Internship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland to study neaural tube development. Dr. Christoph then received a Fulbright Scholarship awarded by the U.S. Department of State to teach English and conduct a study of the Spanish Healthcare System.

Dr. Christoph attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated 1st in her class. There she was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She was accepted into one of the top Orthodontic Residency Programs, Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. There she was awarded the "Baylor Orthodontic Oscar" for the best orthodontic case presentation. She graduated with both a Master's Degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.

She is one of only 30% of orthodontists who is Board Certified. This means that she chose to undergo oral examination of completed cases before the American Board of Orthodontics. After successful completion, she became Board Certified with the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
